We’re partnering with a stable and growing organization to find a Senior Accounting Specialist to join their finance team. This position focuses primarily on calculating and processing monthly commissions for broker partners. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, spreadsheets, and detailed financial processes. The role works independently but is supported by a small accounting team.
Job Responsibility
Calculate and process monthly commission payments
Gather and review data for sold employer groups
Ensure commission payments are accurate based on broker agreements
Work with ancillary benefit programs such as dental, vision, life, and disability
Research and resolve payment discrepancies
Use Excel and Salesforce to track, analyze, and maintain data
Support accounting and finance projects as needed
Requirements
3+ years of accounting, AP, AR, commissions, or related finance experience
Strong Excel skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have
Bachelor's degree
Salesforce experience
Commission processing experience
