Job Responsibility:
Overseeing key areas of the general accounting function, including general ledger activity, financial reporting, and close operations
Supporting and improving month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency
Preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Assisting with the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with US GAAP
Partnering with cross‑functional teams to support financial reporting, compliance, and operational initiatives
Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements, including ERP‑related projects and automation efforts
Reviewing financial data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
Providing guidance and support to accounting staff and contributing to a collaborative, growth‑oriented team environment
Assisting with special projects related to business expansion, system implementations, or organizational growth
Taking a flexible, hands‑on approach and supporting the accounting team as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in US GAAP
Experience working in growing, fast‑paced organizations
Exposure to financial systems and ERP environments
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to change
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Nice to have:
CPA preferred, but not required
Background in both public and private accounting is a plus
