Job Description:

Our client, a highly successful NYC Financial Services firm, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join their high-performing team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the right hand to the VP of Finance, taking ownership of a wide array of financial responsibilities that are critical to the success of the organization. From leading the monthly close process and overseeing the annual audit to assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting, you'll be at the center of financial operations and strategy. As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise and leadership are not only valued but essential. You’ll lead efforts to streamline and enhance accounting processes, ensure compliance with GAAP and CECL standards, and partner with external consultants to complete tax filings. Your keen eye for detail and drive for excellence will help maintain the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of financial reporting. In addition to your core accounting responsibilities, you’ll also play a key role in financial planning and analysis, supporting the development of the annual operating budget, rolling forecasts, and executive dashboards. You will consolidate and analyze financial data to deliver actionable insights to the leadership team, support board presentations, evaluate unit economics, and help drive cost efficiencies across the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the monthly close process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 6+ years of experience
  • CPA required
  • Supervisory experience highly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
