The Senior Accounting Manager will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing month-end close, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving continuous improvements across accounting processes. This role blends hands-on accounting with cross-functional collaboration and strategic problem-solving.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate recording, reconciliation, and review of all financial transactions
Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations, including revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, leases (ASC 842), banking, and investments
Record and reconcile revenue in accordance with ASC 606 and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Prepare and analyze financial statements, schedules, and management reports, including cash flow, capital expenditures, investments, and variance analyses
Partner cross-functionally to resolve close-related issues, investigate variances, and maintain the integrity of financial data
Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis to inform business decision-making
Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures in alignment with GAAP and best practices
Coordinate audit and tax support, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and responses to auditors and tax advisors
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a foundation in Public Accounting
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and U.S. accounting standards
Tech/SaaS experience highly preferred
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
