Job Description

The Senior Coordinator is responsible for the daily and monthly reconciliation of all tender‑type bank accounts. This role utilizes ReconNet and various internal systems, including POS, to research and resolve discrepancies, produce reports, and collaborate with stores, banks, and cross‑functional partners. Additional responsibilities include investigating and disputing chargebacks with supporting documentation and assisting with the month‑end close process.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepares and reconciles the bank accounts for all tender types on both daily and monthly basis
  • Investigate and clearance of all unmatched entries between bank and POS in a timely and accurate manner by communicating with stores, banks and other departments
  • Investigate and fight chargebacks with compelling evidence
  • Effective use of Reconnet system and various other (POS) system to solve issues and create necessary reports (including Over/Short reports) to aid other departments
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to assist Finance to meet its Financial Month End closing timeline
  • Prepare necessary journal entries, work papers and maintain SOX compliance in all job functions
  • Respond promptly and correctly to inquiries from internal and external auditors and update instruction manual where necessary

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a related field
  • High school diploma required – Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred
  • General knowledge of Debit & Credits related to Banking
  • Excel experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and in a team environment
