Job Description:

Senior Accounting Analyst role focused on enterprise-wide reconciliation processes for high-volume, high-risk financial accounts at CVS Health, ensuring accuracy and completeness of bank reconciliations across multiple entities and platforms

Job Responsibility:

Lead and execute enterprise-wide reconciliation processes for high-volume, high-risk financial accounts
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of bank reconciliations across multiple entities and platforms
Identify and resolve discrepancies that could impact financial reporting or operational integrity
Enhance reconciliation controls and improve automation
Support audit and compliance efforts

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in bank reconciliations or general accounting, with a focus on high-volume, high-risk accounts
Strong understanding of reconciliation best practices, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in reconciliation tools and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, BlackLine, or similar platforms)
Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions
Experience supporting internal and external audits
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Nice to have:

Experience in the banking or healthcare industry, with knowledge of industry-specific reconciliation challenges and regulatory requirements
Familiarity with high-volume transaction environments such as lockbox processing, claims payments, or electronic funds transfers (EFTs)
Working knowledge of reconciliation automation tools and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve complex reconciliation issues independently
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
