Responsible for implementation & execution of all aspects of accounting functions, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, and monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting
Assist with preparing, and reviewing companywide monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
Analyzing financial results with respect to revenues, margins, profits, trends, overhead expenses, cash flows, working capital, and budget-to-actual comparisons
Prepare and issue regular financial status and other ad hoc reports to senior management and board of directors
Cash flow management and regular reporting to senior management
Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Job costing in compliance with government accounting rules
Assist with outside CPA firm to complete independent annual audits
Requirements:
5+ years of accounting and financial management experience
Experience with MS Office products, QuickBooks Online
Experience with government contracting rules, requirements, and reporting strongly preferred
Strong organizational & leadership skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Experience in a manufacturing business with job costing and activity-based costing
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
Ability to work without direct supervision and efficiently manage tasks and time
