Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant specializing in financial reporting. This role is ideal for an individual with strong attention to detail, experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving process improvements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting key financial operations and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce consolidated financial reports
conduct detailed budget-to-actual analyses
manage regulatory filings
reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
create and review journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions
support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
identify opportunities for process improvements
stay informed about changes in accounting standards and healthcare finance regulations.

Requirements:

Experience in financial reporting
preference for candidates from not-for-profit or healthcare industry
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have:

Experience with Medicare cost reports and state-specific financial disclosures
experience with process improvements
proficiency in consolidated financial reports across multiple entities.
