We’re partnering with a long-standing, mission-driven nonprofit organization to identify a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This is a true senior-level staff role with ownership over core accounting functions and significant involvement in audit preparation and execution. This opportunity is ideal for a nonprofit accountant who has moved beyond transactional work and has played an active role in audits — owning schedules, working directly with auditors, and supporting compliance across multiple funds or grants.

Requirements:

Prior nonprofit accounting experience
Hands-on audit involvement at the senior or staff accountant level (not just exposure)

Direct experience working with external auditors
Background in a multi-fund and/or grant-based environment
