Job Description:

Our client, a highly innovative company in the luxury retail space, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be a critical part of the accounting operations—handling everything from monthly close and journal entries to preparing financial reports and partnering cross-functionally on new initiatives. You'll dive into reconciliations, support budget planning, manage commissions/bonuses, and help ensure compliance with GAAP and tax requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile bank, credit card, inventory, and fixed asset accounts
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and adjustments
Manage sales commission and bonus payouts
Support financial reporting, audits, and compliance
Collaborate with AP, FP& A, and other departments to drive process efficiency
Produce insightful variance analysis and department-level financials

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
3+ years of relevant experience with a background in retail, wholesale or eCommerce
CPA and foundation in public accounting highly preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
