Job Description:

A manufacturing company in Vista is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in operational accounting environments and partnering closely with leadership and production teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing technical accounting responsibilities with day-to-day operational support.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end close and account reconciliation processes
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
Support inventory accounting and cost analysis activities
Analyze financial data and prepare reporting schedules
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
Maintain compliance with accounting policies and reporting standards
Collaborate with operations and finance teams regarding reporting needs
Support process improvements and accounting system enhancements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
4+ years of accounting experience required
Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
ERP system experience such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle preferred
Advanced Excel and analytical skills required
Strong communication and organizational abilities
