Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing manufacturing organization on a contract basis to provide coverage for a Leave of Absence. This role will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial operations and supporting month-end close during a high-volume production cycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can step in seamlessly to support the team.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Maintain and reconcile inventory and cost accounting
Assist with standard costing and variance analysis (labor, overhead, materials)
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Support financial reporting and management analysis
Partner with operations and plant leadership on inventory and production reporting
Assist with audit support and documentation
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Requirements:

Experience with standard costing and BOM structures
Experience supporting external audits
Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally
