Job Description:

This Contract position (with the potential to turn permanent) offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced accounting skills in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will excel in day to day transactional accounting (AP, AR, Reconciliations) and helping with month-end close.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to support financial integrity
Prepare and post journal entries to reflect accurate financial data
Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and internal records
Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with a strong focus on detail orientation
Proven expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance
Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations
Strong understanding of bank reconciliation practices
Experience handling accounts receivable tasks
Familiarity with accounting software and tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
