Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes

Job Responsibility

Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
Support audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors as needed
Analyze financial data and provide reporting to support management decision-making
Help improve accounting processes and documentation to increase efficiency and accuracy
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, procurement, and other internal teams
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Support ad hoc projects related to system implementations, process improvements, or reporting needs

Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent practical experience supported by at least a high school diploma
At least 2 years of accounting experience in progressively responsible roles
Hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations
