Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Milford, New Hampshire. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, working collaboratively within a dynamic and multi-level organizational structure.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain internal and external financial statements and accounting reports
Review journal entries and ensure accurate classification of records and transactions
Conduct detailed analyses of general ledger accounts and recommend adjustments as necessary
Oversee fixed asset administration, including tracking assets from acquisition to disposal
Assist in managing intercompany transactions and multi-currency operations across divisions
Support month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial analysis
Contribute to the annual budgeting and strategic planning processes
Prepare audit schedules and collaborate on the annual audit process
Handle daily cash management and ensure timely billing and cash application processes
Review customer accounts and initiate collection efforts when required

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end closing
Proficiency in financial software, such as Hyperion, or similar tools
Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, including the full lifecycle of asset management
Experience with intercompany transactions and multi-level organizational structures
Familiarity with multi-currency operations and international divisions
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Proven ability to reconcile accounts, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
