Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial statements, supporting compliance, and enabling business leaders to make informed decisions. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Financial Statement Preparation & Reconciliation (60%): Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and statutory requirements
  • Record and process monthly and quarterly journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and reconcile cash accounts for assigned clients, ensuring alignment with internal controls
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support audit readiness and robust financial reporting
  • Project-Based Accounting & Research (20%): Support planning and execution of accounting activities for special projects
  • Conduct research on complex accounting issues, including SOX compliance and regulatory topics
  • Provide recommendations to ensure accurate and compliant accounting practices
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis (10%): Contribute to the preparation of internal and external financial reports
  • Support financial analyses that inform business decisions and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Process Improvement & Documentation (5%): Identify opportunities to automate or streamline recurring processes
  • Lead or support implementation of process improvements
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of accounting procedures and controls
  • Entity Support Services (5%): Provide accounting support to affiliated entities or business units
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across supported groups

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP (mandatory) and statutory accounting
  • Proactive mindset toward technology, automation tools, and analytics platforms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • able to translate financial data for non-financial audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Conversational English is mandatory (written and spoken)
