Butler Rose are excited to be representing a successful, and growing accountancy practice as they look to hire a Senior Accountant. Having come about through business growth, this is a brand new role which will manage a team of experienced Junior Client Managers. This is a commercial, consultative position which will deal with all client interactions, advisory, and on-boarding, as well as still running your own portfolio of complex clients.

Job Responsibility:

Statutory accounts preparation for a diverse range of clients
Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC
Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
Attend client meeting and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time and budget
Oversee the work of 5 junior accounts team members
Ensuring the team workflow runs smoothly and that all deadlines are met.

Requirements:

At least 5 years' experience working in a UK based accountancy practice
ACA/ACCA Qualified
Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/personal tax and VAT
Excellent communication skills and adept and developing and maintaining strong working relationships
Experience running your own portfolio of LTD's, Sole traders, LLP's and partnerships.
