Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This role requires expertise in financial management and accounting practices, along with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting month-end close processes.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and execute month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are recorded correctly
Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards
Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions
Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Extensive experience with month-end close processes and general ledger management
Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation processes
Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
