Our client, a fast-growing leader in the biotech sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting groundbreaking research and innovation within a rapidly evolving industry.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies
Reconcile complex accounts and maintain the general ledger
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
Support internal and external audits, preparing schedules and documentation as needed
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on special projects and process improvements
Ensure regulatory compliance and support company growth through sound accounting practices
Leverage ERP and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, or QuickBooks

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4+ years of progressive accounting experience (biotech or life sciences preferred)
Expert proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

Nice to have:

CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
