Job Description:

A large company in Rockville is seeking a senior accountant for long-term project. Preparing financial statements, maintaining and reconciling accounts, month/year-end close, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Job Responsibility:

Preparing financial statements
Maintaining and reconciling accounts
Month/Year-end close
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
Ensuring all accounting tasks and financial records comply with generally accepted accounting principles

Requirements:

5+ years of general ledger experience
Analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Certified Public Accountant / CPA credentials preferred
