Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. This role requires a detail-oriented individual skilled in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial data and supporting month-end close activities.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records
Manage month-end close processes, including financial reporting and analysis
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording and reviewing transactions
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Support audits by providing relevant documentation and resolving queries
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all accounting activities
Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency in financial operations
Monitor and update accounting procedures to align with best practices

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close processes
Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entries
Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations
Familiarity with accounting principles and regulatory standards
