Job Responsibility:
Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
Prepare journal entries and perform account and bank reconciliations
Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
Prepare and file sales tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
Support renewal of business and contractor licenses
Assist in recording construction‑related financial activity, including loans, home closings, and land/lot purchases
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
Participate in process improvements and help enhance internal controls
Coordinate with software vendors on system maintenance and recommended updates
Maintain confidentiality and uphold a professional, team‑oriented environment
Contribute to special projects and ad hoc reporting requests
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
3–5+ years of accounting experience
construction industry experience preferred
