We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will manage key accounting functions, including month-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a proven ability to ensure accuracy in financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly documented
Prepare and review journal entries to support financial reporting and compliance
Conduct account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
Develop and analyze financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making
Assist in budgeting processes and monitor variances against financial plans
Manage intercompany accounting activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
Utilize Microsoft Excel and Acumatica to streamline accounting processes and reporting
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and procedures
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented work
Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Strong skills in preparing journal entries and conducting reconciliations
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Familiarity with Acumatica or similar accounting software
Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards
