Job Description:

Our clients in the local area frequently seek experienced Senior Accountants to assist with key financial and operational responsibilities. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end closings, and account reconciliations
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP
Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and journal entries
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally to support audits and provide actionable financial insights
Ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or CMA designation preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
