Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Westlake, Texas. This role requires someone who can manage complex financial data, ensure accuracy, and support system transitions. If you excel in accounting processes and have a knack for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Extract and manage large financial data sets using NetSuite
Utilize pivot tables and advanced formulas to analyze and format data
Prepare data for upload by organizing it into lookup tables
Identify discrepancies and troubleshoot issues with financial formulas
Transfer data accurately into Workday while ensuring proper formatting
Compare uploaded data with original datasets using analytical tools
Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring timely completion
Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
Execute journal entries and manage general ledger transactions
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure account integrity

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close processes
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries
Expertise in account reconciliation techniques
Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures
Proficiency in NetSuite and Workday systems is highly preferred
Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and formula creation
Ability to analyze and resolve data discrepancies
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
