Job Responsibility:
Oversee daily accounting tasks, including reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the general ledger and financial reporting
Provide mentorship and informal guidance to accounting staff, fostering timely and precise financial close processes
Develop and refine accounting policies, procedures, and workflows to improve efficiency
Collaborate with leadership to optimize existing accounting systems and solutions
Identify risks, inefficiencies, and gaps in accounting processes, proposing actionable improvements
Support month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely completion and compliance
Partner with cross-functional teams to uphold accounting standards and drive operational alignment
Requirements:
Strong understanding of operational accounting workflows and processes
Proven experience in preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
Demonstrated ability to document and implement improvements in accounting procedures
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in handling month-end and year-end close processes
Expertise in general ledger management and financial reporting
Experience with bank reconciliations and other core accounting functions
