Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Irving, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting principles and financial reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting audits and tax processes.

Job Responsibility:

Organize and manage the accuracy of all financial data for reporting purposes
Apply accounting principles and company policies to recommend appropriate treatments for various transactions
Oversee the seamless execution of accounting operations to ensure comprehensive and precise financial documentation
Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial information and ensure proper documentation
Work with supervisors to provide tax adjustments and prepare supporting schedules for tax filings
Conduct analyses to support quarterly reviews and annual audits
Review and validate the work of team members before submission to the department manager
Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, ideally with a background in public accounting or public companies
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Strong skills in month-end close processes, general ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliations

Nice to have:

Advanced degrees such as a Master's in Accounting are preferred
Preferred experience in fields such as real estate, property management, fund accounting, or private equity
Yardi general ledger experience considered a plus
