We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth! In this role, your hands-on approach will see you managing all aspects of financial management and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver accurate project financial reporting
Provide variance analysis and identify root cause of deviations
Manage project cash flow
Drive month end process incl. accruals, review Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Business partnering with the project team to resolve issues and ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Ensure that all accounting processes comply with IFRS and company procedures.
Ability to manage data governance, manipulation, and reporting within a project environment.
Mentor other staff in the team

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting
CPA or CA qualification
Previous Audit background desirable
Construction or project-based industries – multi storey project exposure highly regarded
Previous SAP and Advanced Excel essential, Power BI desirable
An Ability to see ‘big picture’ and identify and mitigate any risk factors
Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work in a fast past environment with a customer centric approach to problem solving

Nice to have:

Previous Audit background desirable
Construction or project-based industries – multi storey project exposure highly regarded
Power BI desirable
