5+ years Client relationship experience supporting the Healthcare Industry
Previous Account Management experience with a Health plan carrier
Must be able to attend onsite client and in office meetings
Industry knowledge of employee benefits and/or health insurance
Monitoring and report management experience
Client-facing / presentation experience
Active Health & Life Insurance license or must obtain within 90 days of hire
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Responsibility

Manage to retain and grow existing customer relationships
Build and maintain strong external and internal relationships
Execute tactical components of the account team's business plan for each customer
Manage daily service Plan Sponsor/Producer concerns
Execute on objectives aligned to customer and organizational goals
Attend in-person client meetings including Open Enrollment sessions and annual review discussions
Offer creative product and service solutions to address client's evolving needs
Monitor client's product lines and services
Support development and execution of annual business plan and account strategy
Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative ways to retain business

Bachelors in Accounting

Public Accounting foundation is a plus
CPA or MBA is a plus
Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries, ensuring accurate reflection of company's financial transactions
Proficiency in conducting Month End Close procedures, including account analysis and report generation
Experience with NetSuite, demonstrating the ability to navigate and utilize the system for various accounting tasks
Related industry in CPG, wholesale or retail
Detailed with strong communication skills
Experience with ERP systems

Balance Sheet Analysis
Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date
Prepare and post monthly journal entries
Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial data is accurate

Preparing financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Inventory reconciliation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
2-3 years accounting experience
Basic knowledge of GAAP

Job Responsibility

Maintain the lease accounting system (CoStar / Lucernex), including recording of ROU assets, Lease Liability, Tenant Allowances and the related accounts in a timely matter
Responsible for the monthly review and update of all ASC 842 schedules pertaining to lease amendments, modifications and closures in accordance with the executed lease documents and FASB ASC 842 requirements
Responsible for providing timely and accurate monthly account analyses, reconciliations and journal entry preparation
Review and process monthly accruals, coding requests, and posting errors
Manage ad hoc reporting requests
Research certain technical accounting issues as they relate to the current role and develop process improvement efficiencies in the department
Responsible for preparing and updating a Balance Sheet and Income Statement budget and forecast for all accounts relating to the occupancy and relevant accounting adjustments
Maintain processes and procedures to ensure adherence to Lease Accounting and other corporate accounting policies
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with other departments to facilitate information sharing and adjusting to business changes
Serve as a technical resource to other departments and management
