Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee core fund and management company accounting activities for a multi-entity investment client located in Philadelphia. This position plays a central role in quarter-end reporting, investor-related financial support, and coordination with external service providers. The ideal candidate brings strong fund accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to improving accuracy and efficiency across financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Handle accounting support for periodic closes covering both fund structures and management company operations
Administer capital activity by tracking calls, processing distributions, and allocating investor balances accurately
Produce and review quarterly reporting materials prepared for investors, ensuring completeness and consistency
Oversee treasury-related tasks, accounts payable activity, and reconciliations between affiliated entities
Maintain portfolio reporting tools and monitor valuation data to support timely financial oversight
Recommend and implement workflow enhancements that strengthen controls and improve operational effectiveness

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education
CPA preferred
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong exposure to fund accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Proven ability to perform under deadlines, to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements
