Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic international organization in Miami, Florida. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to oversee critical accounting operations in a fast-paced environment with 16 global offices. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who excels in managing tasks end-to-end and thrives in a collaborative, detail-focused setting.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Handle multi-currency accounting for international offices, ensuring compliance with global standards
Review and oversee international tax filings in collaboration with external partners
Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance
Support accounts payable operations and address general accounting needs as required
Provide training and guidance on foreign exchange and accounting systems to team members
Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of journal entries
Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems to enhance efficiency

Requirements:

Extensive senior-level accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with public accounting backgrounds
Proven expertise in working with international entities and managing foreign currency transactions
Proficiency in major ERP systems, such as Aderant or similar platforms, is required
Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving skills
Familiarity with general ledger maintenance and journal entry processes
Experience with month-end close procedures and account reconciliations
Ability to collaborate effectively in a 100% in-office environment
Knowledge of international tax regulations and compliance requirements
