Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic international organization in Miami, Florida. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to oversee critical accounting operations in a fast-paced environment with 16 global offices. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who excels in managing tasks end-to-end and thrives in a collaborative, detail-focused setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Handle multi-currency accounting for international offices, ensuring compliance with global standards
  • Review and oversee international tax filings in collaboration with external partners
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance
  • Support accounts payable operations and address general accounting needs as required
  • Provide training and guidance on foreign exchange and accounting systems to team members
  • Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of journal entries
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems to enhance efficiency

Requirements

  • Extensive senior-level accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with public accounting backgrounds
  • Proven expertise in working with international entities and managing foreign currency transactions
  • Proficiency in major ERP systems, such as Aderant or similar platforms, is required
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with general ledger maintenance and journal entry processes
  • Experience with month-end close procedures and account reconciliations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a 100% in-office environment
  • Knowledge of international tax regulations and compliance requirements
