Job Description:

Senior Accountant – contract-to-permanent placement. Robert Half is partnering with our client to fill an immediate Senior Accountant opening, available as a contract-to-permanent placement opportunity. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $38–$45 per hour and requires working onsite four days per week.

Job Responsibility:

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and variance reports
Maintain general ledger, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards
Support internal/external audit requests and financial reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Mentor entry level staff members and support process improvements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience, with prior Senior Accountant or similar responsibility
Advanced skills in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Workday, Oracle, etc.) and Excel
Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skill
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication abilities
Ability to work onsite four days per week
