Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Bonita Springs, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. This position is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting and financial management.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards
Prepare and review journal entries, verifying proper documentation and adherence to policies
Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Handle bank reconciliations, ensuring alignment between financial records and bank statements
Assist with financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
Provide guidance and support to accounting staff who are early in their careers as needed
Participate in audits and assist with the preparation of audit documentation

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management
Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger maintenance
Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation processes
Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Familiarity with accounting principles and regulatory compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams
