Job Description:

Robert Half is searching for an experienced and detail-driven Senior Accountant to take ownership of key accounting processes for our clients. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, compliance, and advanced accounting operations. This opportunity is ideal for skilled professionals looking to work across industries like healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, or real estate.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Manage general ledger entries and ensure reconciliations are completed promptly and accurately
Lead month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
Perform detailed financial analysis, including identifying trends and presenting actionable insights to management
Support compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including tax filings and audits
Assist in budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support organizational strategies
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and implement system improvements
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, promoting professional development

Requirements:

4-7 years of progressive accounting experience
public accounting experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable
Proficient in ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite
advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling)
Strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred
