Job Description:

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and maintaining strong internal controls. This role owns critical areas of the month‑end close, supports audits, and partners cross‑functionally to improve accounting processes as the business scales.

Job Responsibility:

Own month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
Maintain balance sheet integrity and resolve variances
Support financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP
Assist with external audits, reviews, and tax support
Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership
Improve accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls
Support special projects as needed (system implementations, integrations, process automation)

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
Hands‑on experience with month‑end close
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
Experience working in ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, Oracle, SAP, Intacct, or similar)
High attention to detail with strong ownership mindset
CPA or CPA-track
Public accounting experience
Industry experience in Construction and/or Manufacturing
Experience supporting audits and multi‑entity structures
