Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting organizational objectives. This position requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Job Responsibility:

Perform comprehensive accounting tasks, including journal entries, bank entries, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations
Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts such as cash, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, and accruals to maintain accurate financial reporting
Ensure the accuracy of general ledger and sub-ledger accounts by reconciling them with source data and systems
Participate in physical inventory counts and reconcile findings to ensure proper documentation
Prepare consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Generate detailed reports, including aging reports and financial analysis, to support decision-making processes
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors
Support tax preparation and regulatory filings to ensure compliance with legal requirements
Provide backup support for accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
Collaborate with the Controller and other teams on special assignments and projects as needed

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
CPA certification is preferred
Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience
Proficiency in U.S. accounting standards and practices
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas and work with external data imports
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Proven ability to train and manage staff effectively
