Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to key accounting functions and play a vital role in ensuring the company's financial accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations as part of month-end close activities
Provide timely support for preliminary financial reviews and flux analysis as requested by supervisors
Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and efficient monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Evaluate and refine accounting processes to enhance automation and improve accuracy
Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to minimize business risks
Coordinate with team members to validate financial account balances and ensure accuracy
Partner with other departments to analyze financial data, resolve issues, and support strategic initiatives
Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA certification considered a plus
0-2 years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or related roles
Strong understanding of journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger processes
Proficiency in month-end close activities, including bank reconciliations and financial analysis
Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with accounting and database systems
Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a hybrid work environment
