Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial goals. This position requires strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting practices.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including collections and reconciliations
Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
Collaborate with other departments to address accounting-related queries and provide support
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounting, particularly in month-end close and general ledger management
Proficiency in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
Familiarity with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections processes
Experience in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
