Job Description:

We’re seeking a talented Senior Accountant to play a key role in operational accounting, general ledger reconciliations, and financial controls. In this position, you’ll apply your technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and problem-solving mindset to enhance our financial processes. You’ll collaborate across teams, support audits, drive automation initiatives, and mentor team members.

Job Responsibility:

Apply technical accounting standards to new and existing products
Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis
Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior leadership
Contribute to automation projects using tools like BlackLine

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
7+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or internal controls
Solid understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks
Experience in financial institutions preferred
public accounting or audit background is a plus
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reconciliation tools
Exposure to Jira or Snowflake for process automation is a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Nice to have:

Expertise in GL account reconciliations
Prior experience in credit unions or banking
Strong communication skills paired with excellent problem-solving abilities
