Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Haltom City, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong background in accounting practices and financial analysis. As a key contributor to their finance department, you will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all accounts are properly balanced
Prepare and post journal entries to accurately reflect business transactions
Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of financial records
Analyze job costs and provide insights to improve financial efficiency
Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports for management review
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting processes and practices
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles
Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management
Strong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliation processes
Experience in performing bank reconciliations and analyzing job costs
Ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports
NetSuite required
Familiarity with accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities to work effectively within a team
