We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to efficient accounting processes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic financial environment and has a strong background in accounting principles.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate completion
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure financial data integrity
Prepare and post journal entries while verifying supporting documentation
Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
Manage payroll, expense reporting, and timesheet accounting with precision
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting operations
Provide detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making
Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
