This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable accountant to join a respected firm and take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, working closely with the partners while supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team. The successful candidate will play a key role within the practice, managing client relationships, delivering high-quality accounts work and contributing to the continued success of the firm.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors
Acting as the main point of contact for client queries, providing professional and timely advice
Preparing statutory accounts for a range of businesses
Reviewing accounts prepared by more junior members of staff
Supporting, mentoring and supervising junior team members
Working closely with the partners to ensure excellent service delivery
Building strong and lasting relationships with clients

Requirements:

ACA or ACCA qualification, or be qualified by experience
Strong experience working within an accountancy practice environment
A proven track record of managing a client portfolio
Experience supervising or supporting junior staff
The ability to confidently handle client queries without supervision
Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
Excellent communication and organisational skills
