Job Description:

This critical role will provide financial reporting and guidance while also taking ownership of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards. Working collaboratively across departments, the Senior Accountant will assist with managing budget and forecast cycles. Additionally, this position will deliver insightful variance analysis and prepare financial reports, further streamlining processes and contributing to the improvement of internal controls as the organization continues to scale. Your technical knowledge will extend to managing fixed asset schedules, calculating depreciation, and helping ensure the overall integrity of financial statements.

Job Responsibility:

Provide financial reporting and guidance
Take ownership of the general ledger ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
Assist with managing budget and forecast cycles
Deliver insightful variance analysis
Prepare financial reports
Streamline processes and contribute to improvement of internal controls
Manage fixed asset schedules and calculate depreciation
Help ensure integrity of financial statements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
CPA or CPA-track preferred
Fluency in GAAP and strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP)
Analytical rigor paired with a collaborative mindset
Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in media, entertainment, or digital-first companies is a strong advantage
