Job Description:

A client of ours is looking for a Senior Accountant for a contract role. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing core accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the organization’s financial reporting processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Support general accounting functions, including journal entries and month-end/year-end close processes
Oversee accounts receivable activities, including monitoring outstanding balances, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely collections
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of account reconciliations, general accounting principles, and accounts receivable processes
Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
