Job Description:

Senior Accountant for a 5-6 month software implementation project, guiding the transition from Sage Intacct to Workday ERP for a client in the education and non-profit space

Job Responsibility:

Guide the transition from Sage Intacct to Workday ERP, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to ongoing operations
Handle comprehensive account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
Perform balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliations regularly to maintain financial clarity
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate representation of financial transactions
Process journal entries, ensuring accurate recording and documentation of financial transactions
Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Handle accounts payable processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices
Collaborate with other team members to improve accounting processes and systems

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an accountant or in a similar role
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
Experience in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and analysis
Must be able to effectively handle Month End Close procedures
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
