Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee advanced accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. This role is critical to managing month-end closings, financial analysis, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Based in Dallas, Texas, the position also involves contributing to audits, budgeting, and process enhancements.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements to maintain accuracy and completeness
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in alignment with U.S. accounting standards
Analyze financial data to identify trends, address variances, and recommend actionable solutions
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and conducting variance analysis to support financial planning
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure best practices within the accounting function
Maintain and update cash flow forecasts by collaborating with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections teams
Provide backup support for the Accounts Payable Manager as needed
Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles with strong attention to detail
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and applicable standards
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in month-end close processes, journal entries, general ledger management, and account reconciliations
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvement opportunities
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
