Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) practice. This internal consulting role offers the rare opportunity to enjoy the stability of full-time employment while working on a variety of high-impact accounting projects across industries in the Louisville area. In this role, you are a salaried employee of Robert Half, working on-site with our clients to support complex accounting initiatives during periods of transition, growth, or change.

Job Responsibility:

Lead or support full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end close
Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
Step into key roles during ERP implementations, mergers, system transitions, or internal reorganizations
Clean up and streamline financial records and reporting processes
Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis tools)
Work within a variety of ERP systems including NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills with a strong working knowledge of data modeling and analysis
Demonstrated experience using mid- to large-scale ERP systems
Ability to quickly assess unfamiliar environments and add value immediately
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
