Job Description:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with handling a range of accounting responsibilities including managing grower settlements, overseeing fixed asset accounting, and leading the month-end close processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial compliance and enhancing financial efficiency within our team.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee financial transactions linked to grower settlements, ensuring accurate tracking of payments, contracts, and revenue recognition
Monitor and manage fixed asset accounting, which includes tracking acquisitions, maintaining depreciation schedules, managing disposals, and conducting reconciliations
Lead the month-end close processes, which includes the timely reconciliation of accounts, preparation of journal entries, and financial reporting
Provide assistance in preparing and analyzing financial statements to support effective decision-making processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies
Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and other departments to guarantee accurate financial reporting
Prepare necessary documentation to support both external and internal audits
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency within the organization

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as an Accountant
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Mastery of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Experience with Bank Reconciliations
Familiarity with the General Ledger
Ability to accurately manage Journal Entries
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Proven experience with Month End Close activities
