Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee key financial operations and reporting for our client's organization. Based in Jupiter, Florida, this role involves managing financial statements, supervising accounts, and ensuring accurate cash flow management. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a proven ability to maintain compliance with best accounting practices.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness
Supervise the processes for accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure efficiency and compliance
Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts to support organizational goals
Oversee cash management activities, including incoming and outgoing wires, deposits, and check payments
Generate reports and provide assistance during year-end audits conducted by external firms
Identify and report financial irregularities promptly to mitigate risks
Conduct cost analysis and contribute to financial data evaluations to inform decision-making
Perform periodic audits to confirm adherence to established financial procedures and controls
Assist with special financial analysis projects and provide insights to support strategic initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required
Minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented accounting experience, including financial reporting and analysis
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of general ledger processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Experience with month-end close procedures and bank reconciliations
Proven ability to prepare accurate financial statements and conduct cost analyses
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
