We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, subscription-based business model while addressing key accounting initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in both transactional accounting and project-based financial analysis, bringing expertise to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Perform high-volume transactional accounting activities with precision and efficiency
Oversee accounting processes related to a subscription-based revenue model
Tackle backlogged and ongoing financial projects to ensure timely resolution
Analyze financial data to identify trends, insights, and variances for decision-making purposes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader business objectives
Contribute to the enhancement of accounting workflows and operational efficiencies
Leverage Excel to manage, organize, and analyze large datasets
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger entries and reconciliations
Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Strong proficiency in journal entries and account reconciliations
Expertise in handling high-volume transactional accounting activities
Familiarity with subscription-based revenue models and related accounting practices
Advanced skills in Excel, including data analysis and management
